There's a lot to talk about regarding the cutting-edge products on my website, and we will get to them as we review products and add more...
But let's talk about toilet seats: haven't you often thought that your toilet seat(s) are too low? In the morning, especially, when your back is a bit creaky, doesn't it sometime take extra and painful effort to get up? What about seniors or those that are otherwise infirmed and unstable on their feet? This is nothing to sniff at -- no pun intended...Toilets are too low for most people, yet we just continue to do nothing about it.
You can get a toilet seat riser, to raise the seat 2" plus. But many people, especially seniors, do not want a white thing on their toilets. They are embarrassed. Makes it look too much like a sick person's house. My number one pet peeve in the home health care product field is lack of color. Most such products make your home look like a hospital. We need more color. Colors can heal!
In my search for a non-white, or non-grey, or non-off-white toilet seat riser -- I found ONE: The Prima Raised Toilet Seat w/Soft Blue Rubber Cover. Unique design, with a removable navy blue rubber mold which covers a sturdy 2" raised seat. Stylish, it does not look hospital-like and is easy to clean. Supports up to 420 lbs. I'm serious, it's great -- I have one myself and love it.
It's a joy not to sit dowwwwwn, and to land on something soft..not soft and squishy like those weird pillow-like seat tops, but not hard. This seat probably will not get freezing cold in winter, either. The only drawback is that there is no lid -- your toilet's lid has to stay up after you attach the raised seat to your current seat. But the attaching is very easy, as is detaching if necessary. Do yourself a favor, and raise your toilet seat; then raise someone else's, too:)
